Deborah Coleman is currently Burns & Wilcox-Associate Managing Director of Hunt Valley, Maryland office where she leads the Commercial, Professional and Personal Lines teams. With 37 years of industry experience, Deborah has 10 years claims and compliance experience, 20 years of experience on the carrier side in risk management, as well as experience with agency management, sales, and underwriting. She is well known for providing consistent leadership, utilizing strategy to implement team strengths in daily activities and developing new talent. Deborah’s efforts have earned her the 2020 Kaufman Distinguished Service Award. Deborah began her career in the insurance industry with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company where she spent almost 18 years identifying opportunities for growth and increasing new business production within the company. She then moved on to work with companies such as Chubb, and Selective Insurance before joining Burns & Wilcox in 2019.
