Heidi began her career in the insurance industry in 2000 with a multinational broker located in Kansas City, where she was responsible for all avenues of middle-market business with a focus on the Life Science Industry; she handled several Medical Device manufacturers and Pharmaceutical companies. Heidi went on to become a Sr Underwriter for a Travelers Insurance company, where she underwrote a number of Professional Lines of business, ranging from Management Liability to Technology and Professional Liability. Prior to joining Burns & Wilcox, Heidi was responsible for managing the Professional Liability department for a large multinational broker specializing in Healthcare Professional Liability, as well as placing coverage for all other licensed professionals. Heidi has over 21 years of insurance industry experience, and has handled all lines of coverage with areas of added concentration in Technology, Medical, and the Life Science industries.
